I can't get a email from gaia online?

Ok I forgot the pword to my old gaia online account so I used the "forgot my pword" on and entered my email. Well I waited 24 hours. Still I got nothing. I'm using hotmail for this. I checked my lift of blocked emails and it wasn't on there. So is this Gaia messing up or hotmail?
