I need help with sending links through Facebook?

Ok, so I was trying to send my boyfriend a picture of myself through ImageShack using their link, and then Facebook said This content has been reported by some users. Please log out. And then they deleted my account. I got my account back after complaining but how do I send him pictures and links? I used to send him stuff before (ONLY him and noone else), and he wouldnt report me, we live together, I just sent him stuff when hes working. Has Facebook got a rule against sending out links and is there anyway to byp this link?
