Someone hacked into my yahoo email I have the IP adress does this help at all?

I tried getting into my other yahoo email this morning but was unable to it kept saying my pword was incorrect finally I call yahoo they give me a temporary pword and when I log in it says my account has been compromised, when i looked under login history it shows someone accessed it this morning at 7am and it shows a IP address different then mine but still in the same town. Can this even help me find out who this may be?
