C code to get the value of a pixel in a image(without using headers or libraries)?

Hello can anyone provide me with the C source code to get the value of a pixel from an image(may or may not be binarized) with respect to the particular coordinates X and Y without use of HEADER files,i want the complete code for it...thanks in advance
