How to read aloud/say a tire size?

I know what all of the different parts of a tire size mean, but how do you, in normal conversation, say 235/70R16? Would "Two-thirty five seventy R-sixteens" be correct for vocally describing a tire? Or can you omit the "r"? Someone who is savvy with car talk, please help!
