Did anybody watch last night's 'Panorama' (May 31), and the abuse of patients?

I thought this had finished with the closing down of hospitals for the mentally vulnerable adults (with or without) learning difficulties in the mid-seventies. After the first five or so minutes, I felt sick, but continued to watch, while patients were being bullied in this home near Bristol. Suspect many other did also. And if that's the case, what does it say about us as a whole?
